live entertainment, great restaurants, bars and clubs,
this place is non-stop.
If you prefer something a little quieter, you
might want to try one of the lodges and hotels in
the Upper Village near the Blackcomb Base. The
Four Seasons Resort and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler
are two luxury hotels located here, among many other
fine lodges
and hotels.
To try the “old-style” Whistler, visit
the Creekside, where the original Whistler Gondola
was built in 1965. Now replaced by the Creekside
Express Gondola, the area still boasts a more rugged
feel. Some lodging options include the Legends and
Lake Placid Lodge. Be sure to check out Dusty’s,
a tradition for après-ski for decades.
